Facility Description : HIM Consulting Firm Reports to : Vice-President, Consulting Position Description : Provide nationwide clients hospital inpatient and outpatient coding audits and training; and educating nursing staff and patient care staff on documentation requirements to meet coding requirements. Those with chargemaster review skills will also perform chargemaster reviews and interviews. Expects consultants to act as professions. Great follow-thru and communicator with staff. High priority to training/quality. Required Education/Experience: CCS Experienced hospital coding consultant preferred with MD and MD billing experience Experience providing hospital coding audits and coding training; educating nursing staff and patient care staff on documentation Additional Skills Desired : Must have solid communication and report writing skills. Must be able to speak to audiences on coding and reimbursement related topics.
